How to Make Minced Beef Tacos - Recipe in description

Preparation time: approx. 30 minutes Level of difficulty: normal Calories p.p.: not specified Ingredients for 4 portions: 1 tbsp oil 1 onion ½ tsp chilli powder 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp ground coriander ½ tsp oregano 1 tsp sugar 500 g lean minced beef 2 tbsp tomato purée 12 small Taco shells 4 large iceberg leaves, chopped 190 g grated Cheddar cheese 100 g sauce (tomato salsa) Salt Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Heat oil in a large frying pan. Sauté onion at a low heat until soft but do not allow to brown. Add garlic, sauté for 1 minute. Mix in chilli powder, paprika, cumin, coriander, oregano, sugar and 1 tsp salt. Cook on a medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Turn the heat up to maximum, add meat and brown. Add approx. 3 tbsp water, keeping the frying pan so hot that the majority of the liquid evaporates. Stir the mixture continuously for 5-10 minutes. Add more water if the meat starts to stick. Warm up Taco shells for 5 minutes in the oven. Arrange meat with the taco shells, iceberg salad, Cheddar and tomato salsa on the table so that everyone can fill their taco shells themselves.
